Jessica Kantor is an independent print journalist specializing in health, human rights, and social impact. Her work can be found in Fast Company, Healthcare Quarterly, Innately Science, and others print and digital publications. Her Simon and Schuster book, Saving Lily, is a guide for treatment providers, loved ones, and individuals in active addiction, on how to navigate the world of substance abuse and treatment.
Jessica has worked with the Solutions Insights Lab since 2023 and serves as an independent journalist interviewing social change makers who have created a proven social change model. The interviews are added to the public databases and are informed by a shared interest in identifying and interrogating what’s working, and what’s not, in the field of social innovation and supporting research and dialogue to advance problem-solving knowledge. The websites and databases are regularly used by journalists, philanthropists, policymakers, and change agents to learn more about promising responses to the world’s most pressing problems so that they can support, collaborate with, and shine a light on these ideas and models.
Jessica provides communications strategy and writing for civil society who are working on the Sustainable Development Goals. This includes overall strategy, ghostwriting, documentary producing, media relations, event planning, social media, SEO, and more.
